Privacy Policy
Protecting your privacy is a priority for us. This document allows you to understand our policy on the processing of personal data and how your information is managed when you use the palazzominotto.com website and its services, pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (the “Regulation” or “GDPR”).
1. Data Controller
The data controller is Maria Gabriella Pianizzola (Palazzo Minotto by Gabriella Pianizzola), with registered office at Santa Croce 143, 30135 Venice (VE), Italy, tax code PNZMGG59C47L219X. For any request regarding the processing of your data, you may write to mgabriella.pianizzola@gmail.com or call +39 392 1552467.
2. Types of data collected
Contact data provided voluntarily: first name, surname, e-mail, telephone number and any information entered when you contact us through the website forms, by e-mail, telephone or WhatsApp (for example for requests for information, availability, room and apartment bookings or the events space).
Navigation data: technical data automatically transmitted by IT systems during browsing (for example IP address, browser type, pages visited), processed solely for the operation and security of the website.
3. Purposes and legal basis of processing
- To respond to your requests for information, availability or booking and to manage the related relationship (legal basis: performance of pre-contractual and contractual measures, art. 6.1.b GDPR);
- To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations (art. 6.1.c GDPR);
- To ensure the correct functioning and security of the website (legitimate interest, art. 6.1.f GDPR);
- To send you, only with your explicit consent, any commercial communications (art. 6.1.a GDPR). In the absence of consent, it is deemed not granted.
4. Nature of the provision of data
Providing contact data is optional, but failure to provide it makes it impossible to follow up on your request. Processing of data for marketing purposes is always optional and subject to your consent.
5. Processing methods
Data is processed using IT and electronic tools, with logic strictly related to the stated purposes and adopting technical and organisational measures suitable to guarantee its security, confidentiality and integrity.
6. Retention period
Data is retained for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which it was collected and, in any case, in compliance with applicable legal terms. Data processed for marketing purposes, where consent has been given, is retained until any withdrawal.
7. Recipients of the data
Your data may be processed by authorised personnel of the controller and communicated to external parties that carry out activities on behalf of the controller as data processors (for example IT service providers, hosting, technical assistance) or to parties to whom communication is required by law. The data is not subject to dissemination.
8. Transfer of data to third countries
The website uses services provided by third parties (for example loading of fonts, maps and tag management via Google Tag Manager) which involve a connection to the relevant servers. These services may result in the transfer of technical data (e.g. IP address) to providers that also operate outside the European Union, in compliance with the guarantees provided for by art. 44 et seq. of the GDPR (standard contractual clauses).
9. Rights of the data subject
As a data subject, pursuant to articles 15-22 of the GDPR, you have the right to obtain access to your personal data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, as well as to object to processing and to withdraw at any time any consent given. To exercise these rights you may contact the controller at the details indicated in point 1.
10. Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you believe that the processing of your data takes place in violation of the regulations, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
